Dr Gaurav Rao heads the department of Internal Medicine. He is highly experienced and dedicated in treating every patient who comes to our hospital. Our mission is to provide patient-centric excellent care, along with the expertise of physicians in order to treat sick patients. Medicine is the field of health and healing. It includes nurses, doctors, and various specialists. It covers diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, medical research, and many other aspects of health. The Department is well equipped to manage chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, lifestyle and obesity, thyroid disorders, lipid abnormalities, and various febrile illnesses like dengue, chikungunya, malaria, respiratory infections, joint pains, and septicemic conditions.
We also give special care to our senior citizens (Geriatric Medicine) and deal with the problems faced by them.
The internal Medicine Department is the backbone of the hospital, therefore it is well connected to all other super specialties, as we understand that some patients may require a broader outlook.
